Cuba is a facinating place and provided you are happy to go with the flow and believe that everything happens for a reason, we can highly recommend it! Every day was an adventure and when things went wrong - it just led to other opportunities.... First day - Airport taxi takes us to wrong hotel (thanks to incorrect voucher). We get to Hotel Florida but it has no rooms available due to plumbing problems and they have no record of our friends' reservation at all! So they send us off to Hotel Presidente in Central Havana instead.....which means that we walk along the Malecon towards Old Havana and get to see this!

Very impressive 138-Black Flags monument and lots of anti-bush billboards outside the US Diplomatic Mission and all along the waterfront.
