Job News - off to BVI

As the purchase of our new employer's company is still going through acres of government red-tape in the British Virgin Islands, the existing owner has decided to employ us in the meantime. Our work permits were submitted and fast-tracked, so we had to race back to the UK on 15th to get our medicals done and pack up all our stuff and fly out again within two weeks.

So, after a very quick catch-up with the family, one attempt at kiteboarding in the Gower, a visit to the Hughes' clan and the Cox's in Witney, we were off again. Sorry once again to everyone who we should have called and seen - but we just ran out of time.

We flew via Atlanta and overnighted there so we could see our friends Cat & Rick for dinner, then left for St Thomas (US Virgin Islands) in the morning. From there, it's only a 45 min ferry ride to the Tortola in the British Virgin Islands. St Thomas is very busy compared to Tortola but I'm sure we shall be making use of their K-Mart & Home Depot in future!
