
So, as the storm approached - from completely the wrong direction, I might add - we boarded up and prepared for the worst.

Andy & Derek took our ferry/supply boats over to our storm moorings in Paraqueta Bay, where the majority of the bareboat charter yachts are kept out of season.

The storm passed overnight so we had about 3 hours sleep while it roared past us.
It was a Cat 3 apparently, but it was moving fast with a small eye, so we only lost a few trees and there was no structural damage at all. It made a nice change to be in a well-built resort made of reinforced concrete!
