Having stopped off at Lennox Head & Byron Bay going north, we decided to check out Noosa Heads – the ‘des-res’ area of the Sunshine coast on our return. The town has a beautiful beach/river setting and is pretty sophisticated with designer shops, boutique resorts and arty fountains but it’s all a bit ‘glass & concrete’. So after a day on the beach, a walk around town and overpriced coffees, we parked overnight in the beach car park along with the other cheap-skates. No Camping signs are everywhere but no one seems to police it.
Didn’t take any photos so here’s one of Andy’s wildlife shots that I couldn't fit in earlier.
Echidnas are so short-sighted, you can just walk up to them in the wild.
