Fiji report – at last

Arrived in Nadi (pronounced nandi) and were met by Andrew, our friend from the Instructor Development Course in Ft Lauderdale back in 2000. He has lived in Pacific Harbour on the south coast of the main island, Viti Levu for the last 2 ½ years.
His house-mate, Lexie, had very kindly offered to drive the 5 hour roundtrip to the airport to pick us up (apparently a dinner at Cardo’s steakhouse is worth the trip!).

Pacific Harbour is an up-market canal development about an hour from Suva and they have a fab house, close to the centre with a beautiful garden & with two rescued cats, Einstein and Sculley.

The town itself is marketed as the ‘adventure capital’ and jet-ski safaris, rafting, kayaking, mountain biking & hiking trips are all available. Oh, and golfing of course..
