The steel walkway sways on pylons 40 metres above the forest and even the parrots fly underneath you.
So, it's Christmas Eve and the question is, will Australia be 'stay at home with the family' like the USA or will Christmas Eve be a huge party night as in the UK? Sadly, it was the former, and save for the underage kids loitering outside and two old guys sporting a ponytail & mullet respectively, the pub was dead. However, all was not lost as they served draught Guinness & Kilkenny, so we had a couple of pints for our Christmas drink.
Got to sleep in for a whole 30 minutes (since it was Christmas, ta very much Andy!) and then off we went to hike Mt Lindsay – a 10km round trip. From the top of the granite boulders you could see the Stirling Range.
The local beaches were busy this afternoon (and included several lobster-red Brits) but the only people swimming in this amazing lagoon were wearing wetsuits, so we skipped that idea.
Christmas dinner was fillet of kangaroo, veg, mash & gravy – Champion!!
