Glenelg beach & jetty area was packed watching the band on stage but as it was a designated ‘dry’ area we grabbed a table in an Italian café bar nearby. We had a few beers, indulged in some fantastic ‘people-watching’ and Gert & Andy even got chatted-up by some aussie chicks!
As midnight approached we got on to the beach with everyone else and saw the countdown & fireworks. Great atmosphere and impressive show (and for the 1st time in 5 years we didn’t have to work New Year’s Eve!)
