
In fact, they walked through the ‘electrically lit’ cave system and had a 14 year-old ‘guide’ who knew nothing about the geology and history of the caves. Instead, she spent an hour shining her torch onto stalagmites/tites and telling them what Disney character or household item they looked like!

At the end of the tour, they were looking forward to the natural mudslide and plunge pool located at the heart of the mountain. Sadly, this turned out to be a ‘sandbag and plastic cover’ slide that entered a pool of mud, sand and water mixed.

The funny thing was, the Chinese tourists absolutely loved it and had their photos taken continually grinning from ear to ear!
