Three Gorges Dam Project
Whatever your feelings on the dam project with regard to the environment or the quality of life for the displaced population, it is an impressive structure. Just over 2km in length it is the longest dam in the world. The sheer length gives the impression that the wall isn’t that high, but we stood on top of it – and it is that high!
